About the club

Frequency Club is the official technical innovation hub of RVCE, dedicated to fostering creativity, building real-world solutions, and boosting technical expertise by providing a platform for both experienced tech enthusiasts and curious beginners. From Machine Learning to Robotics, Web Development to IoT, we celebrate all forms of technology and constantly push boundaries through workshops, projects, and competitions. More than just code, we create innovations that leave lasting impact—in technology, and in society.

MILESTONES

Frequency Club, the premier hackathon and innovation community of RV College of Engineering, has grown into one of the most dynamic and passionate technical teams on campus. With over 9 major projects and 30+ sub-projects in just the past year, we've made a mark across the technical community by consistently showcasing versatility, innovation, and technical excellence. Our proudest achievement came at UNESCO INDIA AFRICA HACKATHON 2022—one of India's premier innovation platforms—where our members secured top honors among teams from across the nation. We've also represented RVCE at prestigious platforms such as Smart India Hackathon, Google Girl Hackathon, and Bengaluru Mobility Challenge, consistently bringing home accolades.

Frequency Club is also known for being a vibrant part of the campus culture. From organizing "Hack the Night" (our overnight hackathon as part of 8th Mile 2023) to conducting regular technical sessions and workshops, we use technology to engage, educate, and empower. One of our most meaningful initiatives was the Web Development Crash Course featuring 9 projects with more than 30 sub-projects, designed to help students master front-end development through hands-on learning.

Today, Frequency Club is more than just a tech club—it's a creative force driven by dedication, unity, and a shared love for expression through technology. We strive not only to innovate, but to inspire. As we continue to evolve, we remain committed to pushing technical boundaries, building a stronger community, and keeping the innovative spirit of RVCE alive—one project at a time.

Our vision is to build a dynamic and inclusive tech community where students from all backgrounds can come together to express themselves through innovation and problem-solving. Frequency Club aims to ignite passion, boost technical confidence, and foster creativity by providing a platform for both seasoned developers and curious beginners. We strive to make technology an integral part of campus culture through weekly sessions, hackathons, projects, and collaborative events, leaving a lasting digital footprint on every member’s college journey. Together, we innovate not just with code, but to the rhythm of unity, self-expression, and boundless creativity.

HOW TO JOIN THE CLUB

Frequency Club conducts recruitment soon after the academic year begins. Our selection process involves a 1st round assessment with aptitude,coding and hardware challenges, followed by a 2nd round interview, after which selection results are announced. Recruitment is done for two verticals—Software and Hardware—based on the student’s interests. The Software vertical has sub-verticals including AI/ML and Web Development, while the Hardware vertical focuses on IoT and Robotics. Our recruitment process is highly competitive, with over 550+ candidates participating each year. We look for innovative minds with a passion for technology and problem-solving, and we’re always open to exceptional talent.
