ABOUT RVCE
Established in 1963 with three engineering branches, namely Civil, Mechanical and Electrical, today RVCE offers 12 Undergraduate Engineering programmes, 16 Master’s Degree programmes and Doctoral Studies. Located 13 km from the heart of Bangalore City, the Silicon Valley of India, on Mysore Road. Sprawling campus spread over an area of 16.85 acres(16.43 guntas) set in sylvan surroundings. Provides an ideal ambience to stimulate the teaching-learning process, helping in bringing out skilled and disciplined Engineers. Rated one amongst the top ten self-financing Engineering Institutions in the country. Current annual student intake for Undergraduate Programmes & Post Graduate Programmes in Engineering is in excess of 1200. Highly qualified and dedicated faculty. Utilises its expertise in various disciplines to conduct Research and Development for industry and defence establishments in the country.

ABOUT RVEI
Committed towards the dissemination of knowledge for the last 8 decades, we at RV Educational Institutions (RVEI) are dedicated to imparting quality education in all disciplines. Our purpose of providing education at a higher scale was etched in stone in 1940 with the inception of the RV Higher Primary School by our founder, the late M.C. Sivananda Sarma. Today, our educational ecosystem consists of 28+ institutions, which are supported by more than 3,000 staff members with nearly 24,000 students. We cover the educational needs of students from kindergarten to postgraduate, across all disciplines – from social sciences and humanities to natural sciences.

Meet The PRINCIPAL
Dr. K.N. Subramanya
Principal & Professor, Department of Industrial Engineering and Management
Dr. K.N. Subramanya, an accomplished academician, Researcher and administrator, currently serves as the Principal of RV College of Engineering, Bengaluru. His journey in higher education began with a B.E. in Industrial and Production Engineering from Bangalore University.
He further pursued an M.Tech. in Industrial Management, an MBA in HR and a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management. Additionally, he has undertaken proficiency courses on Non-Destructive Testing [NDT] and Engineering Consultancy Practice [ECP] at IISc Bangalore, an NPTEL certification in Educational Leadership, and a Harvard certification on “Leaders of Learning”.
