How can I take admission at RVCE?

There are three ways to apply for admission at RVCE. For merit seats, you need to apply through KEA or COMED-K counselling. For the Management quota, please visit our college website for the detailed admission procedure.

Are JEE Mains scores considered for admission?

No, JEE Mains scores are not considered for admissions at RVCE.

Does RVCE conduct its own entrance exam or consider JEE Mains?

RVCE does not conduct any entrance examination and does not consider JEE Mains scores.

When do classes begin?

Classes commence as per the academic calendar issued by the Government and our University. The exact dates will be shared on our website and notice boards once confirmed.

Where can I check the cut-off ranks for KEA and COMED-K?

You can find the latest cut-off ranks on the KEA or COMED-K official websites. If you are on campus, the cut-off details will also be displayed on the college notice boards.

What are the hostel fees per year?

The hostel fees will be communicated once they are finalised for the academic year.

Are hostel rooms single or shared accommodation?

Accommodation depends on room size. Rooms are typically on a twin-sharing or triple-sharing basis.

Are hostels located within the campus?

Yes, all hostels are located within the college campus for student convenience and safety.

Are hostel rooms air-conditioned?

No, hostel rooms are not air-conditioned.

Can we book hostel accommodation in advance?

Hostel bookings can be made only after the final admission process on campus is completed. Advance bookings before the admission process are not permitted.

Where can I get placement details?

For comprehensive placement details, please contact the Placement Office directly. They will provide information about recruiters, training programmes and placement statistics.

What are the fees for seats allotted through KEA, COMED-K or Management quota?

For KEA and COMED-K seats, the fees are as per Government regulations. For Management quota seats, the fee structure will be published on the college website.

What are the college timings?
  • Monday to Friday: 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM
  • Saturday: 9.00 AM to 1.45 PM (Classes on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Saturdays; 1st and 3rd Saturdays are holidays)
