CARV kannada

ABOUT the CLUB

Kannada CARV (Circle of Acting at RV) is the official Kannada theatre club of our college, dedicated to fostering creativity, storytelling, and the rich tradition of performing arts. Specializing in Center Stage Play, Mad Ads, Mime, and Street Play, we push the boundaries of expression through impactful narratives. Kannada CARV not only serves as a creative hub for theatre enthusiasts but also represents our college at prestigious competitions nationwide, showcasing innovation and the essence of Kannada theatre.

Rangataranaga is a renowned state-level theatre fest organized by Kannada CARV, where teams from colleges across Karnataka come together to celebrate and explore diverse theatrical arts, promoting creativity and collaboration. We also conduct interactive theatre activities for both students as well as faculties as a part of Rangararanga.

Additionally, we host CARVINAL, an annual intra-club competition offering members the chance to explore various aspects of theatre beyond acting, such as production design, music, technical operations (lights and sound), voice control, and media management. This event fosters a comprehensive understanding of the theatre production process, encouraging growth and collaboration within the club.

vision

Our vision is to establish Kannada CARV from R V college of engineering as a renowned name across all colleges in Karnataka. We are dedicated to creating a platform that welcomes every student with a passion for theatre, providing opportunities for both performers and non-performers alike. Our focus is on offering comprehensive learning experiences, where aspiring actors, technicians, and backstage crew members can explore and develop their skills.

We are committed to ensuring that every student, regardless of their background or experience, has the chance to contribute meaningfully to the world of theatre. Whether through acting, production design, technical operations, or creative direction, Kannada CARV strives to empower its members and foster an environment of collaboration and growth.

By continuously innovating and embracing new ideas, we aim to keep the club dynamic and forward-moving, ensuring it remains a vibrant space for creative exploration. Ultimately, our goal is to elevate Kannada CARV as a symbol of excellence, inclusivity, and opportunity in the theatre community, inspiring those around us and leaving a lasting impact.
