About the club
CubeX is a prominent student club at RVCE dedicated to the art and sport of Speedcubing. The club’s mission is to foster a vibrant community for Rubik’s Cube enthusiasts by organising and participating in various events. CubeX hosts Speedcubing competitions both within the college campus and at external venues, providing a platform for cubers to showcase their skills. In addition to competitions, the club conducts workshops and training sessions to help the newcomers learn and the existing cubers to improve their solving techniques, algorithm and speed.
Milestones
- CubeX has a strong reputation for organising large-scale events, including co-hosting the joint largest competition in Bengaluru in 2024 at RVCE.
- CubeX frequently collaborates with official organisations like Speed Cubing India (formerly Speed Cubing Bangalore), having co-organised major events such as the Karnataka Cube Championships 2024 and Mysore Cube Open 2024, further solidifying their position in the Indian Speedcubing community.
- The club also organised CubeFest 2024, a highly successful unofficial competition within the college, further demonstrating its commitment to promoting the sport at the grassroots level.
