Building the AI Architects
of Tomorrow
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at RVCE was established in 2021 with an initial intake of 60 students, which increased to 120 in 2023 due to rising demand. The programme builds a strong foundation in computer science engineering with focused training in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Natural Language Processing, Human-Computer Interaction, Data Science, Metaheuristics, Computer Vision, Business Intelligence and other interdisciplinary areas.
In line with industry needs and academic progress, the department has been rebranded as Computer Science Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) from the academic year 2024.
Established in 2021, the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at RVCE offers a strong foundation in computer science, specialising in AI (Artificial Intelligence), ML (Machine Learning), NLP (Natural Language Processing) and other emerging technologies. Renamed in 2024 as Computer Science Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), the programme aligns with evolving industry and academic trends.
