The Department is dedicated Research & Development Lab for students enrolled in Doctoral (Ph.D.) programs. This R&D lab is designed to facilitate advanced research and project work. It is equipped with high-end computing systems and a dedicated leased line internet connection, ensuring uninterrupted access to resources required for academic and consultancy-based research activities.

Location of the Equipment:

 RVCE, MCA Laboratory 4 (Research and Consultancy Lab)

Functional Features and Measurement:

  Supports embedded systems and real-time monitoring using Raspberry Pi, Arduino, ESP32 and various sensors.

  Hydroponic system integration for smart agriculture applications.

  Smart displays facilitate AV-based teaching and demonstrations.

  Dedicated internet allows seamless cloud integration and remote access.

  Measures environmental parameters (temperature, humidity, soil moisture, etc.), biometric signals, actuator response, and network performance.

Specifications:

  HP 280 G3 Micro Tower: Intel Core i5-7500 (7th Gen), 8GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB HDD, Integrated graphics/audio, Gigabit Ethernet, 15” Monitor, Keyboard & Mouse – 5 Nos.

  IoT-Kits:Raspberry Pi 5, Raspberry Pi 4, Arduino UNO, ESP32, sensors (temperature, humidity, soil moisture, gas, light), actuators (relays, motors, pumps), wearable modules (pulse, heart rate, accelerometer).

  Hydroponic Unit: pH, EC, water level sensors, LED grow lights, automation support.

Smart Displays : Touchscreen-enabled, built-in audio-video support – 2 Nos.

Connectivity: Independent high-speed internet facility apart from college LAN.
