About the Department
Founded in 2021, the Department of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning at RVCE provides a solid grounding in computer science, with a focus on AI, ML, NLP and other advanced technologies. In 2024, the programme was renamed Computer Science Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) to reflect current industry and academic developments.

Welcome to the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) at RV College of Engineering. We are proud to be at the forefront of nurturing a new generation of engineers in the rapidly evolving fields of AI and ML.
Launched in 2021, the Bachelor of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning programme had an intake of 60 students. Due to the overwhelming response and increasing demand, the intake has been increased to 120 students from 2023 onwards. Our curriculum offers a robust foundation in computer science engineering, alongside specialised knowledge in AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Natural Language Processing, Data Science, Computer Vision and many more, for better student preparedness to face professional challenges.
