The MG-RVCE Centre of Competence has emerged as a leading platform for mechanical and interdisciplinary students, offering a blend of a strong academic foundation, hands-on training, and industry-relevant skills. Through the certification course, MG and RVCE have come up with the first of its kind course where the participants will be industry trained on electric vehicle technology and maintenance. They shall be market-ready after successful completion of this course. Through the existing infrastructure, an extensive Hands-on training is imparted to Industry Professionals.

1st place in Phase 1, winning INR 2.5 lakhs for their predictive solution, and earned special recognition in Phase 2 with an additional INR 25,000 for their innovative approach to vehicle re-identification. The hackathon’s finalists presented their solutions at the Symposium on Data for Public Good at IISc, showcasing impactful solutions for Bengaluru’s traffic management.
