Established in 1972, the autonomous Electronics & Communication Engineering Department, affiliated with VTU Belagavi, emphasises industry relevance, producing successful graduates in higher education and industry. The programme features a state-of-the-art, interdisciplinary curriculum shaped by stakeholder feedback and offers holistic student development through co-curricular activities.
The department uses standardised, autonomous teaching methods like flipped classes and blended learning, alongside industry-sponsored labs and expert lectures. Following Outcome-Based Education principles, the eight-semester programme includes mandatory projects, internships, and industrial visits, with continuous improvement based on industry needs.
