Centre of Excellence in Health Care Technology Research

Need for the Centre

The Centre for Health Care Technology Research (CHTR) is dedicated to advancing healthcare by evaluating, developing, and implementing innovative technologies to address pressing medical challenges.

Establishment OF CHTR:

The Centre For Healthcare Technologies Research (CHTR) has been under continuous development since 2023. As healthcare systems increasingly rely on technology for accurate diagnosis, treatment, and patient management, CHTR plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technological innovation and clinical application. CHTR has collaborations with hospitals and the biomedical industry creating a platform for product development, clinical validation, Bio-signals acquisition. To support these research activities, dedicated facilities and workspaces have been established, providing the necessary infrastructure and environment to pursue innovative projects and advancements in these fields.

Objective:

  • Develop innovative and affordable biomedical devices tailored to clinical needs through interdisciplinary research.
  • Enable clinical validation and bio-signal analysis in collaboration with hospitals and healthcare institutions.
  • Promote indigenous healthcare technologies under the Make in India initiative for scalable and sustainable impact.
