NBAAbout the Programme
Dept. of ETE offers a full time two year M. Tech. Program in Digital Communication Engineering. The curriculum designed for M. Tech ( DCE) is in “Outcome Based Education (OBE)” frame work which is designed so as to provide not only core domain knowledge also boosting their practical skills through interdisciplinary projects, industry internships. The dept. has MoU with Tektronix and Nokia pvt. Ltd. As a part of this collaboration, Various workshops, industrial visits, projects are being carried out by PG students. Our graduates of ETE are working in various roles such as R&D Engineer, Hardware Engineer, Software Engineer, Embedded Engineer in leading industries such as AMD, Qualcomm, Cadence, IBM, NetApp.

RV College of Engineering has been offering Post graduate programs since the year 1997 (MCA) and 2004 (MTech). The programs have been successful in terms of Academic outcome, Industrial Internships, Conversions to full time Placements, Higher education and Research, Accreditations with good grades (both in Tier I and II). These are an indication of RVCE’s commitment to quality and Excellence.
The curriculum is Industry oriented, with Courses on cutting edge technologies, well quipped laboratories and Centers of Excellence for Project works and research, qualified faculty mentors and technical staff to support.
There are Extra and Co-curricular activities, Innovative project clubs and International University collaborations to add value to the programs.

Programme Outcomes (PO)
- PO1: Acquire in-depth knowledge of Digital Communication Engineering with an ability to analyse, synthesise, and evaluate existing and new technologies.
- PO2: Learn and apply modern engineering tools to solve complex engineering problems.
- PO3: Engage in lifelong learning independently, to contribute to multidisciplinary research work.
- PO4: Independently carry out research /investigation and development work to solve practical problems.
- PO5: Write and present a substantial technical report/document.
- PO6: Demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area of Digital Communication Engineering. The mastery would be at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate bachelor’s programme.
