About the Programme

The M.Tech. in Software Engineering programme offers a dynamic research environment supported by experienced faculty specialising in AI, Cloud Computing, IoT and more. Its VTU-recognised Research Centre, established in 2011, guides 34 scholars in advanced areas like NLP, Cyber Security and Image Processing. The programme features industry-linked labs with Nvidia, LDRA and others, and receives research funding from DRDO, AICTE and similar agencies. Strong industry collaborations through MoUs with Microsoft, IBM and global partners enhance learning.

With project-based curriculum, excellent placement support and opportunities for research and higher studies, the programme ensures academic depth and industry relevance for aspiring software professionals.

The M.Tech. in Software Engineering programme offers a strong research foundation through its VTU-recognised Research Centre, established in 2011. RV College of Engineering has been offering Post graduate programs since the year 1997 (MCA) and 2004 (MTech). The programs have been successful in terms of Academic outcome, Industrial Internships, Conversions to full time Placements, Higher education and Research, Accreditations with good grades (both in Tier I and II). These are an indication of RVCE’s commitment to quality and Excellence.

The curriculum is Industry oriented, with Courses on cutting edge technologies, well quipped laboratories and Centers of Excellence for Project works and research, qualified faculty mentors and technical staff to support.
