The Department of Information Science and Engineering at RVCE offers a B.E. programme (Intake: 135), M.Tech in Software Engineering and Information Technology (18 each), and research programmes including M.Sc. (Engg.), Ph.D. and Integrated Ph.D. With a focus on AI, IoT, Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity, the curriculum blends innovation with industry relevance.
Supported by a VTU-recognised research centre and partnerships with Microsoft, Nvidia and HP, the department ensures global exposure, hands-on learning and excellent placements averaging ₹18 LPA. Students benefit from centres of excellence, real-world projects and are placed in top firms like Cisco, Amazon, Intel and Adobe.
