About the Programme

Established in 2007, the M.Tech. in Information Technology (MIT) programme offers a full-time curriculum with excellent infrastructure, modern computing facilities and a 17:1 student-teacher ratio. It emphasises student involvement in interdisciplinary R&D, consultancy, and entrepreneurial activities, supported by industry partnerships and labs that provide hands-on experience in areas like Advanced Data Engineering and Cyber-Security.

Students secure internships at top companies, and graduates achieve enhanced placement opportunities in advanced ICT technologies like Mobile Domain and Social Media, Mobility Analytics and Cloud (SMAC), with high salaries. The curriculum focuses on research, including industry-relevant electives and core subjects such as Cyber Security & Digital Forensics. Students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities, including hackathons, workshops, skill tests, paper presentations and MOOC courses, for holistic development.

RV College of Engineering has been offering Post graduate programs since the year 1997 (MCA) and 2004 (MTech).
