Since 2022, RV College of Engineering and MG Motors India Pvt Ltd. have partnered to establish the RV-MG CoC in Electric Vehicle Technology. The CoE-EV (Centre of Competence in Electrical Vehicle) is a group of passionate faculty and students from RVCE. The group works under the Centre of Competence in Electric Vehicle Technology in association with industry partner MG Motor India Pvt. Ltd., offering career‐oriented skill development in EV Technology to cater for the demanding needs of the EV Automobile Industry.

Success Story about the projects & products

The MG-RVCE Centre of Competence has emerged as a leading platform for mechanical and interdisciplinary students, offering a blend of a strong academic foundation, hands-on training, and industry-relevant skills.Ā  Through the certification course, MG and RVCE have come up with the first of its kind course where the participants will be industry trained on electric vehicle technology and maintenance. They shall be market-ready after successful completion of this course. Through the existing infrastructure, an extensive Hands-on training is imparted to Industry Professionals.
