Vision

Our vision is to become the best archive library and a vibrant technical library known for its best practices in knowledge acquisition and sharing, acting as a crucial outreach for faculty and students.

Mission

We are committed to:

  • Serving as a knowledge and information sharing resource centre for all engineering and technology disciplines, equipped with the best and latest reference books and journals.
  • Establishing a serene learning environment where readers can easily use library facilities and services at any time.
  • Automating, digitising, and providing seamless e-enabled access to all library resources for every reader.
  • Facilitating the acquisition, storage, retrieval, sharing, and loaning of resources with other engineering and technology libraries with ease.

Our Extensive Collection

Our library boasts a vast collection of resources, with a total document volume of 1,89,710. We offer a diverse range to support all academic pursuits:

Digital Resources (E-Resources):

Our comprehensive e-resource collection is a value-added service, accessible through the Digital Library, anywhere on campus, and even from home via IP-based access.

E-Books: 47,100 + (a wide array of publishers, including Wiley and Pearson)

What We Offer

Library Services

We offer a range of services to enhance your learning and research experience:

  • Circulation of Books:- Books meant in Stack and PG section will be issued for its readers.

  • Classification of Books:– All the subjects books are arranged as per the Dewey Decimal Classification numbers.

  •  Reference Services: – Reference books are meant for in-situ reference only.

  • Book Bank Facility:- The facility is provided for category students, an additional two books are issued from book bank section apart from the books in the stack area.

  •  Inter Library Loan:- Document delivery service through DELNET is provided to its readers for the books, manuscripts and journal articles not available in library by borrowing them through DELNET.

  • Programme:- Library facility and services orientation programme is given for the new students.

  • Inter-Library Loan (ILL): Through DELNET, we provide document delivery service, allowing readers to borrow books, manuscripts and journal articles not available in our collection.
  • User Awareness Programme: New students receive an orientation programme covering library facilities and services.

Membership & Loan Periods:

  • Undergraduate (B.E.) Students: 4 books for 15 days

  • Postgraduate (M.Tech./MCA) Students: 5 books for 15 days

  • Faculty Teaching: 15 books for one semester

  • Research Scholars: 5 books for 30 days

  • Non-Teaching Staff: 3 books for 30 days

Our library is staffed by a team of five technical library science professionals and four non-technical staff, committed to assisting you with your needs.

Library Timings

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM
